A graphic print of Neil Young photo by the artist Shepard Fairey went on sale last week. The limited edition sold out in 3 minutes.
The print is based on the photography by Henry Diltz of Neil Young and his White Falcon guitar at Balboa Stadium, San Diego, before a CSNY concert in 1969.
"sold out in 3 minutes, hey"?.....
ReplyDeletea bit like tryin to get prime seats at a Neil concert!!..41 years later!

Actually though, the link to Henry Diltz leads to some of the most recognized photos of the rock era, and even better, to some quite obscure shots as well.

ReplyDeletethanks so much for your receipt of appreciation regarding supporting "the harvest"...it was well received in doc's house believe me!!!

I was lucky enough to score one of these. I'm a huge Fairey fan, so I knew about the sale. It was quick. A lot of people got refunds because of an oversell.
