Wow that's great! One question though, isn't Cripple Creek Ferry a song by The Band (written by Robbie Robertson). When did Neil cover it?
ReplyDeleteWell, I've got it on After The Gold Rush credited to Neil Young himself.
ReplyDeleteJan,
ReplyDeleteYou're right.
I think they must've been thinking of the Band's The Weight which has a line about Cripple Creek.
Cripple Creek ferry was off 'After the Goldrush'
ReplyDeleteThe band's song, correct me if I'm wrong, was "Up on cripple Creek which if I remember right, was from the last walz and probably on an album of the bands as well.
C'mon Robbie Robertson fans ,help me out here.
Both catchy, enjoyable songs.
The Band has a song called "Up On Cripple Creek" It is not to be confused with "Cripple Creek Ferry"
