  4. As far as I know it was the Chrome dreams band that play.
It seems out of the setlist there is no acoustic then electric part of consert now.

  5. much shorter setlists now then on the europe tour earlier this year.

  6. The band last night - Crawford, P Young, Cromwell, Rosas, Keith, Young. ( Larry Cragg on banjo ) Wonderful opener.Neil halted All Along The Watch Tower after a few seconds due to a technical issue but once resolved he sent it home - another golden moment.

  7. Ok, it has been again the Great Young™!
But, if I had to be honest, I went at the show waiting for a couple of new songs, or some rare gems he use to play sometime, like he did in Milan, last march. Instead he just played his best, but no surprises. It's the first time in 20 years of concerts of Neil that I've seen…

    Anyway… don't mind… It was a great concert!
Love and only love: great beginning, amazing!
Hey Hey, My My: just FIRE!
    Mother Earth: sweat small surprise!
All along the watchtower: the Old Black is near to be burned!!!

See you tonight in Verona Neil!
    :-)

  8. Wasn't this advertised as being with Crazy Horse? I'm concerned- where are they? Not even Ralph!

  9. No, some of the venues advertised with the Chrome Dreams line up. Only NY-fans on websites were dreaming of and hoping for Crazy Horse.

Are there any pics available? How many times did Larry play the banjo?

  10. Seems to have been a short evening. Any ideas why the setlist was so short?

  11. Does anybody know how long the show in Florence was, we're heading to the Malahide show?

  12. I don't know, but i did read Love And Only Love took 17 minutes... plus 17 minutes for No Hidden Path... RITFW and SR also take some time... most of the others 5 minutes each... and All Along The Watchtower... depends on Old Black...

  13. Love and Only Love is a great song ... so is No Hidden Path... so is Love to Burn...so is DBTR... hey, wait a minute, aren't these all in Em and the jam centers around Em7 and A? Maybe it's all one song, huh?

  14. I was there, it was a great show for 2 hours (Love and Only Love 18 minutes and No Hidden Path nearly 20 or more!). The encore was 13 All Along The Watchtower and 14 RITFW. Larry played banjo on Old Man.

I posted some of my Amsterdam pictures here if anyone is interested. They were from the 20 Feb show. was in 3rd row center. awsome.

saw a youtube vid of last night's show all along the watch tower. decent video...same old neil. going to see him in dublin and south of holland.

have to admit thought the acoustic sets last winter were spectacular. going to miss them....but as he said in A'Dam....he's going to rock some roller rinks and make some noise.

  16. Just seen Neil yesterday in Florence. Maybe a little short, but
FANTASTIC show. Love and only love was amazing, about 15 (or more)
minutes of music, true music! All Along the watchtower, Rockin in the
free world, then needle, old man... No acustic songs (even old man was
played with the band, chrome dreams band) except Needle. He was furious
    with electric guitar... Don't miss!

  17. VERONA REPORT

    FUCKING HOT:
He strted with Love to burn...remember the weld version? Ok just forget it!!!
It started with a 15 minutes guitars work just UNBELIEVABLE....and the entire song lasted about 25 minutes.
Neil looks in great shape; folks this is a shows for rock festivals...if you're goin' to see it just don't go for stayng sit in a chair..this is for jumping and dancing as Neil is on stage!
    62 years old thoiis guy?..no can't be!!
As opener there was one of the italians rock band more violent....I think after seeing neil show they are going to change job this morning.
The show was great, Young seemed comfortable with the venue till No hidden path.
There was someting going wrong, he start arguing with Larry while playing and then shortered down the song and got out without a word.
he came back a little later and started a furious All along the watchtower, but clerly his mood was changed.
It lasted about other 20 minutes and then dropped the guitar on stage after showing to the crowd his ass, without a gestore or a word!
Anyway this is him: keep it or leave it!
What's important is the music and it was ablolutely great!
    here's the ste list:
    Love to burn
    Everybody knows..
    Dirty old man
    Spirit Road
    Too far gone
    Powderfinger
    Hey Hey My My
    Mr Soul
    Oh lonesome me
The neddle and the damage done
    Old man
    Mother heart
    No hiden path

    All along the watchtower

    Two hours show!!

You guys goin' to see...if your mood is to see comfortable sitting an old hippy era dinosaur playng slowly sad song just forget it!
Go there ready to dance and jump...that's Neil's mood these days.
To the brave young rock bands 'round europe: watch out! this dirty old man is giung to kill ya!
