by the way, i REALLY hope there´s gonna be a live-album from this tour. maybe a 2-disc-set, with one beeing acoustic, the second electric..? i think that would be awesome! and it´s about time to release "road rock vol. 2" anyway, isn´t it..? ;-)

    6. yeah, man, THAT another LEVEL!!!!

    7. at the amsterdam shows he said he was coming back to play some "big roller rinks and make some noise".

      I yelled "crazy horse".

looks like he wasnt kidding. bbought my tix this morning. Werchter here we come.

      Happy US Independance Day.

      ReplyDelete
    8. If the horse plays Europe and not the US I will be very very sad.

    9. Looks like I might be in a field somewhere in Belgium with a lot of you folk out there!

      What great news.

And with Crazy Horse! ...and I'm just listening to the Paris concert on Rust Radio & he's just dedicated Winterlong to DW ...

This Chrome Dreams thing's good ( went to Toronto - quite awesome!)& got tickets for 3 in London but to have festivals with Crazy Horse to look forward to is just fantastic.

Can't wait to see which other festivals they're playing/I'm trekking off to! They wouldn't bother coming for less than half a dozen would they?

I've been working at Glastonbury for the last five years just to be sure that I'd not miss him if he did turn up - maybe this year ? The one fecking year I've not arranged to work there!!!

(brilliant Copenhagen reviews, I too believe it's more than music)

      ReplyDelete
    10. it would be sweet if he played some american festivals too then. hoping he'll play 10KLF

      Gonna be a great summer!

    15. Got my ticket for Rock Werchter. Can't believe it.. Neil and the Horse. Live again in Europe..

      ReplyDelete
    16. I'm just gonna be positive and hope that Crazy Horse comes to the U.S. sometime after the European tour. :)

My brother and I have been DYING to see Neil with Crazy Horse. It would seriously be a religious experience for us. They are the greatest band on the planet!

      ReplyDelete
    17. He's playing Ireland too - Dublin and Cork - 29th and 30th June!

      Oh yes!

      ReplyDelete
    18. Is there anyone who knows where to find the latest update on Neil upcoming summer tour? Is there a special place he announces his new concerts? I'm gonna see him in roskildefestival, but i would really like to see him in Germany, Netherlands or somewhere else close to DK. Thinkin' about taking a Neil tour this summer to see his concerts:)

      ReplyDelete
    19. Uhh, Crazy Horse seems not as clear as it could be.. look at sugarmountain..
but it has to be the horse! they fit best for a festival tour.

      ReplyDelete
    20. I still have not heard any concrete evidence that crazy horse will be there

      ReplyDelete
    21. The current Chrome Dreams Band is a well-oiled unit that can play anything that Neil has ever done and follow him [musically] anywhere he goes. And since the setlist is still expanding ("Fu$%ing Up/Free World/Down By The River/Hey Hey My My" etc have just been added to the setlist recently) I doubt that Neil will bring out the Hosre for the summer shows. Although I am hoping for the Horse myself... In a recent interview Neil said that there will be more Crazy Horse action coming up when Poncho has time to go out on tour again...

      ReplyDelete
    22. There's some info on Neil comming to The Netherlands: He will be playing with the same band he is currently touring. Ralph, Ben + Rick. That means only one Horse. Maybe he will change his mind like he changes the setlist during this tour. BECAUSE SOUND MATTERS

      ReplyDelete
    23. new dates:

      Di,08.07.08 Leipzig Arena
      Mi,09.07.08 Oberhausen König-Pilsener-Arena

      source: www.eventim.de

Seem to be no festival dates!

      ReplyDelete
    24. Not Crazy Horse.

The publicity for the Dutch festival and the Irish ones clearly say its this band, Ralph, Rick and Ben.

Could be wrong, but anyway Neil and Ralph don't need anyone else. Ben Kieth and Rick Rosas were pretty much spectators while Neil and Ralph tore into Cinnamon Girl on Wednesday in London.

      ReplyDelete
    25. Does anyone out there definitely know if the Cork show will be Neil doing one acoustic and one electric set, or is it (as I'm praying) be with The Horse as well?!!

      Simon

    27. I just bought tickets for my friends and myself for the conccert in Oberhausen. I saw Neil and Crazy Horse there in 2001.
It will be hard to wait til July but its something to really look forward too.

      ReplyDelete
    28. Thanks Neil so much for coming to Spain at last !!!
The fact is that, as I didn't think it would happen, I bought some tickets for the 15 march concert in London, and I'm travelling there with my family this week (my 14 year old son loves his music as much as I do).
And now we have known we are seeing him twice this year, 'cause we are having him in Madrid
(We could see him here just once, in 1987).
So,I can't believe it, and hope no one dares to wake me up !!!

      ReplyDelete
    29. neil, AUSTRIA, please!!!!!!

      ReplyDelete
    30. UK summer date added;

Sunday 6th July, Hop Farm Country Park, Kent. Tickets on sale 9am Tuesday 18th March 2008

      ReplyDelete
    31. Now I have my ticket, nothing can stop me from watching this concert! not even my job.

      ReplyDelete
    32. Is it a definate that he is playing in Kent? I havent seen it listed anywhere or being officially announced and would love to go if it true. If so, is it just him in an outdoor gig or isnit an actual festival, in which case do we know who else is scheduled to appear.

      Many thanks

      ReplyDelete
    33. The Kent show was mentioned on the teletext music pages today (C4 - 341/342) so it seems legit

      ReplyDelete

      ReplyDelete
    51. Just seen Neil yesterday in Florence. Maybe a little short, but FANTASTIC show. Love and only love was amazing, about 15 (or more) minutes of music, true music! All Along the watchtower, Rockin in the free world, then needle, old man... No acustic songs (even old man was played with the band, chrome dreams band) except Needle. He was furious with electric guitar... Don't miss!

Arrived very early and listened to rehearsal for that nights gig. its was brilliant. And the Concert was fantastic. he made a joke about not usualy beable to see his audiance however it was still bright when they took to the stage. in someways i feel this made him put more effort into the gig if thats possible. all who get the chance to see this tour will remember it forever. tks Neil realy appreaciate you and the bands early afternoons jam pratice . it was worth it. the evening went without a hitch
