  1. great great show!.. but "only" one encore and no "sultan".. a superb "winterlong" in e-set..

  2. I was hoping he might work in "Berlin" with the quintessential Neil query:

"Will you take me just the way I am, after Berlin?"

Very great show, great accoustic part and the electric set was even better
In short some impressions that might differ fromt the other shows of the tour:
    Accoustic part:
    - It became obvious that On the Beach and the Archives were not that well known to the audience
    - There's one special moment in Ambulance Blues that always earns some howling and yelling from the audience, not so in Berlin, strangely there was silence and no reaction.
    - Great performance by Neil.
    Electric part:
    - First three songs were great, the only problem was - us. Neil was rocking the hell out of his bones and we were just sitting in our armchairs. But with Down by the River he got us, the whole hall was standing up
    - Highlights: a wonderful Down by the River, perhaps one of the best versions ever, and No Hidden Path.
    - Of course, with only one encore it was much to short.
All in all a very great evening, thank you Neil and your musicians and the crew.

  7. I thought there was at least SOME screening of posts on this site. Comments on oral sex belong on a PORN site, not here. This place is allegedly about Neil and his music, not some juvenile bragging about his sexploitations. Frankly, such posts should be deleted or at least relegated to a Neil/porn thread so I and other music-minded folks like me don't have it thrown at us when we choose not to read such unexpected garbage. It is really beneath the formerly high standards of this site.

  9. Neil's tribute to David Briggs in Berlin 26.02.2008:
Neil only spoke once (or twice) during the concert and this what he exactly said before launch into Mellow My Mind:
..when ever I come to Germany I always think of my old friend David Briggs.. cause he was a german - he was born somewhere in the mid-west of America but he was a german.. he always said he was born on the February 29th.. he'd not accounted for some with behaviours.. since he was only about 8 years old.. but.. he always loved Germany and he always loved this album that I wanna do this next song here.. from..(start playing)
